SWOC Championships: Edgewood .v. Harrison: Pregame

The Harrison Wildcats will travel to Edgewood this Friday to face off against the Cougars

The Edgewood Cougars’ football team will be taking on the Harrison Wildcats this Friday night at Kumler Field at 7:00 PM. For Edgewood, this game will decide if the title is going to be solely owned, or shared amongst 2 teams. 

Harrison quarterback, #9, Luke Rogers, has thrown for 819 yards this season, completing 77 of 157 attempted passes. Rogers, a junior, has thrown 10 interceptions and 8 touchdowns. 

Leading the Wildcats in both rushing and receiving is #2, Cohen Hering, a sophomore. Hering has rushed 123 times for a total of 538 yards, scoring 6 touchdowns this season. 

A leader of the Cougars’ defense is #56, junior, Wyatt Walker. Walker has 73 tackles, 23 have been solo. He has also had 1 interception this season. 

Edgewood kicker, #9, David Rumpler, is 2 for 6 this year for field goals and 25 for 30 on extra points.

During Edgewood’s game against the Ross Rams, Rumpler completed 1 field goal attempt and 3 out of 3 extra points.
