Edgewood Cougars take the field at Talawanda High School

The Edgewood Cougars’ football team faces off against the Ross Rams, this Friday, at 7:30PM at Ross High School. Edgewood brings a 7-1 record to the table and Ross will be coming to the game 4-4.

Rams’ quarterback, Emory Severance, wearing #3, will be leading the team come Friday night. Severance, a 5’8″ sophomore, has completed 3 of 7 attempted passes and thrown for 1 touchdown this season.

Senior #4, Jaye Warren, leads the Rams rushing attack with 969 yards.

The Edgewood Cougars defense is being led by senior Brick Barker, #27. Brick has had 64 total tackles this season, 18 being solo. He has also had 3 interceptions, adding up to 42 yards. 

The leader in scoring for the Cougars is #34, fullback, Tavionne Crosby. Crosby, a senior, has run the ball 130 times for a total of 870 yards.

This week’s Cougar Den theme is “Western”!

This is the Cougars final away game before next Friday’s senior night against the Harrison Wildcats at EHS. The Den spirit theme is “Black Out”!
