My name is Kat Proffitt. I am an aspiring artist and writer from Carlisle, Ohio. I moved here about four years ago due to a house fire that forced us to move, but we are working to move back in February. This is my first year at Edgewood. In my free time I either write or draw, and I’ve filled out a number of sketchbooks. I was inspired to draw and to write by my best friend of many years, and I probably wouldn’t have picked up the craft if it weren’t for them. When I’m old enough to move out I want to be a content creator, making things for the community, and when I get enough money to do so I want to open up a place, giving out necessities such as clothes, food, and hygiene products to the homeless and poor.
