A worldwide hit, returns on October 25th as the Call of Duty franchise releases Black Ops 6. Call of Duty Black Ops 6 has a huge fanbase, and a fragment of those fans are here at Edgewood!
Sophomore Lucas Stevens wants some changes in the new Black Ops in order to see a more sufficient game.
“The hacking issues in the game are incredibly annoying to deal with. They can take control of any account in the game,” Stevens said.
Freshman Seth Snyder loves the Black Ops franchise.
“ I love that they have the multiplayer game mode, and how you can level up your weapons and have thousands of different attachment combinations. I personally think this game has one of the best campaigns out of the majority of other games,” Snyder said.
Black Ops 6 will have two new game modes, Face Off Kill Order and Gunfight.
According to the Call Of Duty website Face Off Kill Order is where the objective is to eliminate the enemy in order to gain the most score points for your team. Gunfight will mean you will pair up with an opponent and go against the enemy team using randomized load-outs.
Now, player technique plays a big part in Black Ops. Sophomore, Makhia Spyers, explains what she does as a technique to play the game easier, “I love to camp sometimes because it’s so funny when people are screaming at me because I’m camping in a corner.” says Spyers. She says that camping helps her get more kills and she can be sneaky about it.
Spyers says a lot of things need to change, “I hope everything changes. I need more and different maps, new characters, and more weapons. Zombies maps and weapons also need to change,” Spyers said.
Black Ops 6 will be removing the Riot Shield. And according to the Call of Duty website, Spyers will be in luck because Black Ops 6 is said to have a lot more new maps.
Although, Snyder believes that some things need to stay, “I hope the omni movement stays. It can be buggy at times but it is still in the works. I think it would really make Black Ops 6 very unique and I would hate to see it removed.”, says Snyder.
Overall, Stevens, Snyder, and Spyers are all excited for Call Of Duty Black Ops 6 to come out, and are all eager to see what is to come with the game.
