Summer is coming up fast, and there is so much to do! As school halls empty out and summer is just around the corner, many plan their summer with an adventure, school, or work but get into some summer freedoms.
Even the word summer leaves lots of impressions. Senior Aubree Brown thinks of “Shorts, tank tops, attire, swimming, and warm activities” There is lots to do with summer and she feels it’s best described in those five words.
Whether it’s leaving town or staying home there’s plenty to do during the summer. Edgewood math teacher Lily Krawll is most definitely soaking up the sun away from home.
“We go to the lake but it’s nothing special just hanging out with family and enjoying time off work,” Lily said.
It’s time to plan to have a fun-filled summer. Early graduate Noah Apking has lots to look forward to when it comes to the freedom of summer.
“I intend to pursue my electrician apprenticeship, swim at my Grandmas, and watch football,” Noah stated.
After these two months of sun and freedom, it is unfortunately time for reality again, whether it be work, school, the military, or nothing at all. After the relaxation, adventures, and memories, what’s next?
