Our Cougar Prints team filled their brackets to see who the National Championship will be and you would be surprised to see their picks and upsets this year.
Senior, Brock Crowe has the Tarheels winning this year as he has always been a big fan of North Carolina.
“I’ve always been a fan of North Carolina ever since I was a kid and my dad has been also ever since he was a kid too, and I had a North Carolina Michael Jordan jersey and I used to wear it all the time.”
One of his main picks he was confident about the actuall turned out correct was Oakland beating Kentucky and he is very confident about his bracket.
“Oakland upset Kentucky was a big one but so far I think my bracket is good and is gonna win it.”
Senior, Alli Witsken picked Baylor to win the National Championship because she hasn’t watched much of the men’s side of basketball but she does remember them having a very good women’s team.
“I picked Baylor because I know they have a very good women’s team so I would assume their men’s team would be about the same.”
Alli has the Dayton Flyers going to the second as they played Nevada this past Thursday as they came back from 17 points in the second half.
“I was sweating bullets because I wanted them to win and keep my bracket alive.”
Senior, Kadence Schmidt had an interesting bracket as she had three out of the four 16 seeds upsetting the one seed.
“What can I say I like rooting for the underdogs.”
