Spring Break is approaching rapidly and people have started going crazy. Running errands and finding places to go. Students or teachers will either go to fun places or just stay home and relax on the long break
Junior Maddy Peterson loves traveling.
“My freshman year I went to California with my mom and sophomore year I went to Nashville, Tennessee,” Maddy said
Maddy enjoyed California but she didn’t like the weather as much as she thought she would.
“There was a little bit of a wind chill but the warm sun canceled it out,” Maddy said.
Overall Maddy enjoyed her vacation and hopes to inspire others to go.
“If you want sun and good food definitely go to San Diego,” Maddy said
Algebra II teacher Mr. Farris enjoys taking small trips during Spring Break however his wife doesn’t get the same week off with him. Mr. Farris enjoyed going to Cleveland, Ohio with his family and the food.
“I liked the chicken and waffles in Cleveland,” Mr.Farris said
Mr.Farris has an opinion on where you should go and why you might enjoy it
“California. It has a beautiful beach there. Any of the beaches you can’t go wrong with except Virginia Beach. Hawaii is really nice too,” Mr.Farris said.
Junior Isabel Rosskopf has a different approach to Spring Break.
“I don’t really do anything but relax. I like to take a break from school” Isabel said.
Even though Isabel doesn’t do much on spring break she still has her opinions on a good and bad spot to go.
“The weather is a big factor that ruins a lot of vacations. Although, drama of all kinds especially from family and friends is also a big one” Isabel said
Isabel likes a good spot but it’s only good with a few things.
“If it’s affordable and nice then it’s definitely a good spot to go,” Isabel said
Although Isabel doesn’t get out much, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend.
“I would rather it just be me and him together instead of going out or shopping with other people,” Isabel said.
Spring Break may be a time to relax and to get away from things like school or even work. It can also be a time for people to explore new places that interest them
